– ADAT ARI EL DAY SCHOOL DONATES A MOBILE PLAYROOM FOR UCLA’s MATTEL CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL
Students at the Adat Ari El Day School in Studio City, CA held fundraising activities all year long and were able to collect enough funds to sponsor a Mobile Playroom unit which will “Lift the spirits of hospitalized children” at UCLA’s Mattel Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. We are thrilled that the Student Council selected The Oscar Litwak Foundation as their charity for the 2010 – 2011 school year.

A total of 9 Menchie’s stores throughout Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley generously donated a portion of their sales on April 10, 2011 to The Oscar Litwak Foundation. The event was successfully organized an coordinated by the foundation’s Teen Advisory Board, and all the money raised directly benefited the Mobile Playroom Program. – THE OSCAR LITWAK FOUNDATION ROCKS OUT WITH THE CAST OF ROCK OF AGES
In what can only be described as an electric night, friends and supporters of The Oscar Litwak Foundation came together to enjoy a pre-show party at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood, CA where food and drink were as abundant as hair in an 80’s rock band. After mingling with the cast of the show, and all the plates and glasses were emptied, the foundation’s guests enjoyed an unbelievable performance of Rock of Ages, the acclaimed hit musical.
