Hi! My name is Gia and I am working toward sponsoring a mobile playroom with The Oscar Litwak Foundation for my Bat Mitzvah Project this year.
I am in 7th grade and I love helping others, especially kids. I met the Litwaks through soccer many years ago, and when I learned the story about their family and the foundation, it was clear to me that this is the cause I want to support.
Especially now, during the Coronavirus pandemic, it is more important than ever that the kids have access to these mobile playrooms. Due to COVID-19, children are no longer allowed to visit the shared hospital playrooms, which are currently closed. Their time in the hospital is challenging since they are there long-term, and sometimes for weeks at a time. I really want to help make a difference now, when they need it the most. The mobile playroom I am donating will go locally to the pediatric floor of Cedars Sinai Hospital, and I am asking for your help.
Together, we can make a difference in kids’ lives even if it’s just to put a smile on their faces for a few moments. Any amount you can give will go a long way in helping me reach my fundraising goals for the mobile playroom — no amount is too small. Thank you for supporting me and this cause that has become so important to me.
❤️, Gia
