Nikhil is not only passionate about “Lifting the Spirits of Hospitalized Children“, but also about taking care of our planet and its environment. He organized and rallied his community to donate recyclables which he later collected, cleaned, processed and took to the recycling center where he raised funds for The Oscar Litwak Foundation. Just an amazing job!
We were blown-away when we received this e-mail message from Nikhil: “I just wanted to share some pictures from my first recycling effort to raise funds for a mobile playroom. I am excited to be a part of this great cause to bring a smile to a child’s face. I am proud and excited that I made $30. But, I also know, as Robert Frost said, “I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep.” Thank you so much for this opportunity to help bring a smile to a child’s face.

We are also very lucky to have had the help of Hailey and Rebecca who’s dedication and commitment to the mission of the Foundation is just unbelievable – both organized and ran incredibly successful toy drives at their respective schools (Chaminade and Harvard-Westlake) collecting hundreds of toys, games and arts & crafts materials to stock many Mobile Playroom Units, but most importantly, raising awareness of the difficult situations hospitalized children often find themselves in.
Hailey, Rebecca and Nikhil, we are honored and humbled by your efforts – we are sincerely grateful and very, very proud!
